Senior I.T.S Engineer
Senior I.T.S Engineer The candidate will report directly to the Principal Engineer within the existing team. They will be able to lead projects, have an understanding of ITS design and be experienced in dealing with clients. They need to hold a full driving license & have the ability to communicate with clients. The candidate needs to have the ability to adapt to new skills and be computer literate. The candidate should have some practical experience of Highways Agency work, ideally in a TechMAC, RMC or RMCMC environment. Companies such as Peek, Serco, Telent, Atkins and WSP are likely to have staff that have worked in the kind of environment we are looking to recruit from.Base location would be Guildford, but would consider a candidate that wanted to be home based if they do not wish to relocate. HND / Degree in numerate discipline. English language to good GCSE or O'level, and a science / physics / electronics qualification. Experience of working in a TechMAC, RMC or RMCMC environment, ideally as a team leader or manager of the work. Experience of dealing with client issues. Experience of managing budget and timescale constraints and ensuring delivery of projects.Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to lead teams, or with the desire to move into doing so. A clear communicator, with good written English skills
