ILS Engineer
ILS Engineer An ILS Engineer is required to influence, design and develop existing and future platforms for ease of support, and to lead in the execution of ILS programmes and plans. Supporting the ILS Manager in requirement setting, specification, design, development, procurement and fielding of support solutions as well as the conduct of Logistics Support Analysis. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Salary: Circa £30 - £35k This is a permanent position.
• formal engineering qualifications to at least HNC or equivalent;
• good working knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support;
• good understanding of providing equipment support to military vehicle systems;
• good understanding of the requirements of an ILS Engineer / Manager in Defence Acquisition;
• working knowledge of MOD acquisition and Defence Standards;
• working knowledge of MS Office applications;
• good communication and resource management skills.
