Mango's Birthday Party! Over £1500 was raised!

In April this year a number of Mango Personnel’s clients and associates were invited along to the Abode Hotel in Exeter to join in their 10th Anniversary celebrations. They were raising money for their dedicated charity of the Year – Sparks - Childrens’ Charity.

Judi Spiers of Radio Devon presented the evening with a Charity Auction, where there were some fantastic prizes including A helicopter flight, a holiday in France and day being chauffeur driven in a Aston Martin DB7.

Nicky from Mango Personnel commented, “It was a truly wonderful evening, successful in every way. We have also raised a staggering £1,574.00 for our dedicated charity of the year. This charity means a lot to all of us at Mango, and really does touch all of our hearts.”

Mango Personnel was founded in April 2000 by Nicky Dunn and started its early life in a small office in Castle Street. Nicky identified that there was a niche for an independent Recruitment agency that cared about their candidates and clients alike, putting them first as opposed to beating corporate targets.

Nicky Dunn, Managing Director says, “I have seen a number of agencies thrive and fall in Exeter. I am very proud that we have grown and flourished to be a good, professional, fresh and reputable Recruitment Agency. In any industry there are certainly highs and lows of running a business, but it has been very enjoyable and rewarding nevertheless.”

After 18 months Mango grew and moved to its present funky and vibrant offices in the High Street. Nicky says, “I started Mango Personnel with the ethos to be fresh in the approach to recruitment, to stand out from the other agencies – to be different in a positive way!”

“I wanted to thank all those in the local community for all of their support over the past ten years and we hope there will be many more successful years to come.”
We wanted to say a big thank you to all of the local businesses in the area who have kindly donated their prizes and all those bidders who really embraced the spirit of the auction in aid of this charity.
