Confused about Social Networking

Confused about Social Media?

Do you know your twitter from your linked in and your tweets from your blogs? It has been estimated that two thirds of the internet population is using social networking websites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Social Media is now classed as an essential tool in developing your business and building your client base. So, if Social Media is leaving you with your head spinning, then block out 15 February 2011 and attend our Charitable Workshop, in aid of Noble Foundation, to leave you tweeting and linking your business into your vision of success for the future.

Introduction to the power of Social Networking and how it can benefit your business

Over the last couple of years the growth of Social Networking has revolutionised the way we communicate and it is now having profound effects on the way we do business.

This workshop aims to both enlighten and entertain by separating the facts from the fiction and providing an in depth and balanced introduction to the Social Networking phenomenon. It will examine the background and history of Social Networking and help delegates to understand why there has been such a fundamental shift in the way we communicate socially and in business.

As well as providing a thought provoking and detailed insight into the phenomenon of social media it will also provide a wealth of useful tips and techniques in relation to creating a Social Networking strategy to keep your business ahead of the competition. The workshop will look at how some global companies are now abandoning traditional marketing strategies in favour of Social Networking strategies and why you should too.

The workshop will also help delegates to understand why a strategy is not enough to ensure success without the right type of content. It will examine how using the right words, themes and messages will help your business stand out from the crowd, and how in particular certain PR techniques can be used to your advantage.

About Noble Foundation – Helping others to help themselves

The Noble Foundation is set up with very specific aims in mind and one single purpose. To help those who help themselves. What we mean by that: It is our belief that "Charity" has, too often is the past, meant giving - albeit giving to needy people, but the "giving" stopped there.

We favour a subtly different approach, best described by the old proverb: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day - Teach him how to fish and you feed him for life".

We provide micro loans. Loans that are far too small to be of any interest to banking institutions. Loans designed to help women (and by the way - we ONLY lend to women) begin to develop a "business
enterprise". The loans we make have no minimum, the term and interest payable structured to fit the purpose of the loan. It's no good requiring interest paid on a monthly basis when the loan was to buy a calf and there can be no financial yield for several months. A loan could be $5US (although it more likely to be $50+).

We cannot, and never will be able to, resolve more than a tiny fraction of the world's wrong, but we see helping those to help themselves as a very NOBLE cause. We ask you to help us provide the lifeline, the helping hand, to help folk get back on their feet, after war and / or natural disaster has fallen upon them.
